MRI Post-Primary Certification Training Program
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) utilizes a powerful magnetic field, radio waves and a computer to produce detailed, cross-sectional pictures of the inside of the body. Magnetic resonance imaging technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. The MRI program can be completed on a part time or full time basis.
